6 Maintenance <br />Check that the impeller can rotate freely. <br />4. Adjust the impeller: <br />a) Measure the distance between the edge of the impeller and the pump housing <br />cover. <br />The correct distance should be 0.5-1.5 mm (0.02-0.06 in). Add or remove the <br />appropriate number of adjusting washers in order to achieve correct distance. <br />b) Tighten the impeller screw. <br />If applicable, use the rod. <br />Tightening torque:65 Nm (48 ft-lb). <br />Check that the impeller can rotate. freely. <br />5.
