ELIGIBLE COSTS — expenses incurred during the grant performance period to complete <br />the SCOPE approved by OGALS through an encumbered contract. <br />GRANT — funds made available to a GRANTEE for completion of the PROJECT SCOPE(S) <br />during the GRANT PERFORMANCE PERIOD. <br />GRANTEE — an entity having a fully executed CONTRACT with DPR. <br />GRANT PERFORMANCE PERIOD — period of time that ELIGIBLE COSTS may be Incurred by the <br />GRANTEE and paid for by DPR, as specified in the fully executed CONTRACT. <br />IN-HOUSE EMPLOYEE SERVICES — use of the GRANTEE's employees working on the SCOPE. <br />OGALS — DPR's Office of Grants and Local Services. <br />PRE -CONSTRUCTION COSTS — costs incurred subject to the 25% cap on the amount during <br />the planning, design, and permit phase of the PROJECT before construction can begin. <br />PROJECT — the recreation features and support amenities listed in the SCOPE/Cost <br />Estimate Form. <br />PROJECT COMPLETION — when the features and support amenities listed in the <br />SCOPE/Cost Estimate Form are complete and the facilities are open and useable by the <br />public. <br />PROJECT COMPLETION PACKET — The documents required in order to request final <br />payment following PROJECT COMPLETION <br />PROJECT OFFICER — an OGALS employee, who acts as a liaison with the applicants and <br />GRANTEES and administers GRANT funds, and facilitates compliance with the Procedural <br />Guide and CONTRACT. <br />SCOPE — the features and support amenities listed in the SCOPE/Cost Estimate Form that <br />must be completed prior to final GRANT payment. <br />42 <br />
