RESOLUTION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO.2022-007 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE A MASTER SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH VISIONARY INTEGRATION PROFESSIONALS, LLC FOR DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE ACCELA PERMITTING SYSTEM (IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $600,000) WHEREAS, Staff developed a Master Services Agreement ("MSA") in order to best implement improvements to the Accela system recommended in a needs assessment conducted in 2020; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement with Visionary Integration Professionals, LLC. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does hereby RESOLVE as follows: That a sole source procurement under Cal. Pub. Cont. Code section 3400(c)(2) is approved in order to match products and services currently in use; and That the Master Services Agreement is approved for a not to exceed amount of $600,000 and the first Statement of Work (SOW #1) is approved for a not to exceed amount of $63,820.00 and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute payment and all documents on behalf of the City, in a form approved by the City Attorney; and That the City Manager is authorized to take all actions necessary or appropriate to carry out and implement the terms of the agreement and to administer the City's obligations, responsibilities, and duties to be performed under the agreement; and That an appropriation of funds in the amount of $63,820.00 from the 688 IT Fund Balance to the IT Operating Budget (Account 688-01-121-5120) is hereby authorized to fund the first Statement or Work (SOW #1).
