Key findings included: <br />• Opportunity for greater fiscal savings by transitioning 30 <br />positions from sworn to civilian staff, primarily in administrative <br />areas (e.g. finance, records, fleet maintenance, security, IT, and <br />HR). <br />• Identified the need for additional positions related to open record <br />requests, reviewing BWC footage, and packaging of officer videos <br />for judicial proceedings. <br />• Provided insight into alternative organizational structures and <br />span of control in administrative functions. <br />• Conducting workload analysis to determine staffing needs for <br />non-patrol and investigative units. <br /> <br />Kawartha Lakes, Ontario: John served as the lead analyst of the on <br />this engagement which reviewed the current staffing and developed <br />staffing projections for a facilities study.
