housing and permanent supportive housing, and $388 million for prevention, rapid <br />rehousing and shallow subsidies; and <br />WHEREAS, additional funding will be needed for the one-time development costs <br />for new buildings; and <br />WHEREAS, to achieve the needed expansion level will take a significant <br />investment of new resources; and <br />WHEREAS, there are anticipated increases in Federal and in State resources <br />dedicated to expanding affordable housing and ending homelessness; and <br />WHEREAS, there is still a significant gap that will need to be filled locally; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to receive future funding made available through the County, <br />Cities must endorse the Home Together 2026 plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br /> <br />That the City Council endorses the Alameda County Home Together 2026 <br />Implementation Plan. <br /> <br />Introduced by _______ and passed and adopted this 18th day of April 2022, by the <br />following vote: <br /> <br />Members of the Council: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> Kelly B.
