Introduction <br /> <br />This plan sets forth the salaries and benefits applicable to the City's Confidential employees. <br /> <br />Section 2. Confidential Classifications <br /> <br />The Confidential classifications covered by this compensation plan, as assigned to the City <br />Manager’s Office, City Clerk’s Office, and Human Resources Department, are listed as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Administrative Assistant II <br />Administrative Assistant III <br />Administrative Specialist I <br />Administrative Specialist II <br />Administrative Specialist III <br />Deputy City Clerk <br />Human Resources Analyst <br />Human Resources Technician <br />Payroll Specialist <br />Police Recruit Trainee <br /> <br />Section 3. Pay <br /> <br />The rates of pay that are to be effective during the period of this Compensation Plan are <br />enumerated in Appendix “A” which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> <br /> The appendix reflects wage adjustment as follows: <br /> <br />A six percent (6%) salary increase effective January 1, 2022. <br /> <br />A three and one-quarter percent (3.25%) across the board salary schedule increase <br />effective January 1, 2023. <br /> <br />A three and one-quarter percent (3.25%) across the board salary schedule increase <br />effective January 1, 2024. <br /> <br />The City will begin a classification and compensation study by May 1, 2023 for all <br />classifications in the Confidential Group. Results and implementation strategy will be <br />considered for the successor compensation plan. <br /> <br />Section 4. Hours of Work <br /> <br /> A work week shall be computed as the number of hours customarily considered as a full <br />week's work in the classification and in the department in which the person is employed. <br />
