Environmental Checklist <br />Cultural Resources <br />Environmental Consistency Checklist Pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 39 <br />5 Cultural Resources <br />Significant <br />Impact <br />Less Than Significant <br />or Less than <br />Significant with <br />Mitigation <br />Incorporated <br />No <br />Impact <br />Analyzed <br />in the <br />Prior EIR <br />Substantially <br />Mitigated by <br />Uniformly <br />Applicable <br />Development <br />Policies <br />Would the project: <br />a.Cause a substantial <br />adverse change in the <br />significance of a historical <br />resource pursuant to <br />§15064.5?□■□■□ <br />b.Cause a substantial <br />adverse change in the <br />significance of an <br />archaeological resource <br />as defined in §15064.5?□ □ □ ■ ■ <br />c.Disturb any human <br />remains, including those <br />interred outside of formal <br />cemeteries?□ □ □ ■ ■ <br />Analysis in Previous Environmental Document <br />The General Plan EIR analyzes cultural resources on pages 4.4-10 through 4.4-19 and finds that <br />impacts to cultural resources would be less than significant. <br />The following describes the analysis included in the General Plan EIR and also provides a <br />streamlined review to determine whether there would be project-specific impacts that are either 1) <br />peculiar to the project or the parcel on which the project is located, 2) were not previously analyzed <br />in the General Plan EIR as significant effects, 3) are potentially significant off-site impacts and <br />cumulative impacts that were not previously discussed in the General Plan EIR, and 4) are now <br />determined to have a more severe impact than discussed in the General Plan EIR due to substantial <br />new information. <br />Regulatory Setting <br />City of San Leandro 2035 General Plan <br />Policy CD-1.7: Protecting Resource Integrity <br />Ensure that new development, alterations, and remodeling projects on or adjacent to historic <br />properties are sensitive to historic resources and are compatible with the surrounding historic <br />context. Ensure that the San Leandro Zoning Ordinance and any future design guidelines include <br />the necessary standards and guidelines to implement this policy.
