IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2022- RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND MACKAY METERS INC. FOR PARKING METER SERVICES AND TO APPROVE A TWO-YEAR CONTRACT EXTENSION AND AN ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION OF $104,792 FOR THE PURCHASE OF METERS, PARTS, AND ASSOCIATED SERVICES WHEREAS, the City and MacKay Meters, Inc. (Consultant) have executed an agreement, pursuant to which Consultant has provided certain services with regard to parking meter management; and WHEREAS, the City and Consultant desire to amend the agreement to extend the term by two years and increase the amount of compensation by $104,792 for a total of $217,792; and WHEREAS, the City and Consultant intend to upgrade existing MacKay meters to 4G LTE and purchase and install new MacKay Meters in various metered parking spaces throughout the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of an amendment to the current agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council hereby RESOLVES as follows: That the following contract amendments are approved: 1. Section 1.1 of the Agreement entitled “Term of Services” is hereby amended to extend the term from December 4, 2021, to December 4, 2023; and 2. Section 2 of the Agreement entitled “Compensation” is hereby amended to pay the Consultant a sum not to exceed $217,792; and 3. Exhibit A of the Agreement entitled “Scope of Services” is hereby amended to include the purchase of seventy (70) 4G LTE replacement radio drawers; and 4. Exhibit B of the Agreement entitled “Compensation Schedule & Reimbursable Expenses” is hereby amended to include part 15MM0520101 - 4G LTE replacement radio drawer; and 5. All other terms shall remain in full force and effect; and That said amendment to the agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is authorized.
