GSP OVERVIEW <br />SUSTAINABILITY GOALS & INDICATORS <br />Four sustainability goals. <br />SGMA requires that the <br />GSAs consider 6 <br />sustainability indicators in <br />the GSPs. <br />Interim criteria for each <br />indicator were developed <br />with stakeholder input and <br />using best available science <br />& data with the caveat that <br />major data gaps need to be <br />addressed. <br />All criteria for each of the 6 <br />sustainability indicators are <br />currently being met. <br />Sustainability Goals for East Bay Plain Subbasin <br />Manage <br />& protect <br />Collect <br />data <br />Evaluate GW <br />beneficial uses <br />Maintain <br />sustainability <br />Groundwater Levels are stable <br />Groundwater Storage is stable <br />Seawater intrusion is not observed <br />Water Quality objectives are met <br />Land Subsidence is not observed <br />Surface Water is not being depleted <br />Sustainability Indicators <br />7
