GSP OVERVIEW <br />POTENTIAL FUTURE PROJECTS PENDING DATA & SCIENCE <br />Three future projects will <br />be evaluated. <br />EBMUD has not used <br />Bayside to meet potable <br />water demands due to new <br />supplemental supplies. <br />Bayside requires physical <br />modifications and state <br />permit approvals to <br />implement. <br />New data collected and <br />analyzed as part of <br />implementing the GSP will <br />be used to guide future <br />groundwater management. <br />•Bayside <br />Any new sources of drinking <br />water added will meet or <br />exceed all State and Federal <br />requirements. <br />•Large Parcel Irrigation <br />Serve large parcels (e.g.parks, cemeteries) with <br />groundwater in lieu of using water from EBMUD’s system <br />•Chabot Recovery <br />Supplement flows in San <br />Leandro Creek with <br />groundwater <br />8
