The key job responsibilities may include the following: <br /> <br />1) Assist the department with the day-to-day tasks: <br />• Managing general liability claims and directing the activities to the third-party claims’ <br />administrator <br />• Administering the city’s risk pool activities <br />• Reviewing for adequacy of insurance and indemnification provisions and preparing new <br />contracts <br />• Overseeing procurement policy development, compliance and contract management <br />• Monitoring activities and <br />• Providing budgets and financials to the PD management <br />• Documenting the procedures for the new Business Manager <br />• Keeping track of all the short-term and long-term assignments. <br />• Preparing vehicle bids <br /> <br />2) Provide any other assistance as needed <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />483
