The City approves of Alameda CTC's concept plans presented on June 21, 2022 for the advancement of the Project into the Plan, Specifications, and Estimates phase for an all -ages and abilities multimodal facility; and The City Council finds that the Project addresses safety needs and is consistent with the City's Vision Zero Traffic Safety Policy; and The City supports Alameda CTC's efforts to advance a regionally significant project as identified in the 2014 Transportation Expenditure Plan, 2020 Countywide Transportation Plan, and Plan Bay Area; and The City supports Alameda CTC's efforts for the Project to obtain approvals for the preliminary engineering/environmental and plans, specifications, and estimates phases; and The City supports Alameda CTC's efforts to pursue funding opportunities for construction of the Project. That said amendments to the agreement are hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
