<br /> <br />City of San Leandro Ph III <br />Installation Agreement – Attachment A <br />Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />Senior Community Center <br /> <br />Mechanical <br /> <br /> Replace one (1) existing 90 ton water-cooled packaged unit with one (1) new high efficiency air- <br />cooled unit of similar size and capacity. Refer to the City-provided design drawings, “Replace <br />Package Unit” dated 10/5/21, page M4 for information on proposed equipment specifications. <br /> <br />The Scope of Work includes: <br />• Measure and record airflow readings for the existing HVAC system at main supply <br />ducts, main return ducts, and VAV terminal units. <br />• Removal and proper disposal of the existing unit. <br />• Installation of new vibration isolation frame onto the existing curb. <br />• Installation of one (1) new packaged roof top unit per manufacturer instructions. <br />• Necessary duct modifications at the inlet and outlet of the unit. <br />• Disconnection/reconnection of the existing power wiring to the new unit condensing <br />section. <br />• Installation of new separate power wiring from the existing electrical panel to power <br />fans and auxiliary devices associated with the new unit. <br />• Installation of new condensate drain line to an approved receptor. <br />• Disconnection/reconnection to the existing building automation system (BAS) <br />controls. <br />• Start-up/testing of the new unit. <br />• Perform an air balance on the system after completion of the unit replacement. <br /> <br />The Scope of Work excludes: <br />• Work not specifically included in the scope or identified in the drawings provided. <br />• Repairs and/or modifications to the existing structural support or to the roofing. <br />• Repairs to existing equipment such as, but not limited to, ductwork (other than <br />connections at the inlet and outlet of the unit), VAV terminal units, diffusers, controls <br />(other than disconnect and reconnect), water leaks, boilers, and pumps. <br />• Installation of new supply or return ductwork and diffusers if required. <br />• All fire life safety work. <br />• Temporary cooling. <br />
