CITY COUNCIL OF SAN LEANDRO <br />MINUTE ORDER <br />NO.2002-27 <br />SUBJECT: General Plan; Matter of Resolution Adopting the 2002 San Leandro <br />General Plan Update, Making Mitigation and Alternatives Findings, <br />Adopting a Statement of Overriding Considerations, and Adopting a <br />Mitigation Monitoring Plan <br />MEETING DATE: May 6, 2002 <br />Minute Order No. 2002-27, Matter of Resolution Adopting the 2002 San Leandro General Plan <br />Update, Making Mitigation and Alternatives Findings, Adopting a Statement of Overriding <br />Considerations, and Adopting a Mitigation Monitoring Plan. (1176/1428/1977) <br />The City Council requested the following changes to the 2002 San Leandro General Plan <br />Update: <br />1. Credits Page, Steve Meyers will be listed as "City Attorney Emeritus" (instead of "former City <br />Attorney) [Young] <br />2. Page 55, the edit to Action 1.02-A is actually an edit to Action 1.02-B (this was a typo). <br />Action 1.02-A is unchanged. [Santos] <br />3. Page 91, edit Action 7.12-D as follows: <br />Action 7.12-D: Hudson Lumber Site and Yokota Nursery Properties. <br />Support the reuse of the Hudson Lumber site with a wide variety of uses consistent with a <br />"Light Industrial" General Plan designation. These uses could include a full complement of <br />telecommunications, research and development, office, work -live space, and similar uses. <br />Opportunities for park and recreational uses should also be pursued on the site if public <br />funding can be secured.
