SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that the City Council approve a resolution ratifying the creation, deletion and classification title changes for the above -listed classifications. � . -. ' `lIS IUDs Following recent assessments of the structure of the Engineering and Community Development Departments, it was determined to reorganize the duties of some of the classifications within each department. In the Engineering Department, the Transportation Administrator was retitled Principal Engineer; the Community Development Department re -instituted the Planning Manager Position and the Housing -Community Development Block Grant Coordinator position was raised to a management level due to the increased responsibility of the position. The Recreation Department has retitled the Recreation Coordinator and Recreation Supervisor classifications to Recreation Supervisor LM to allow greater flexibility. The supervisory series will allow the filling of the position at either level depending on the qualifications of a candidate. The Wastewater Pollution Control Plant is upgrading a current Maintenance Worker II position to a Maintenance Worker III position due to the technical needs of the collection 1 as:j
