The City Council approved the creation of and appointment to a Housing Element Ad Hoc Advisory Committee (HEAL) and accepted the Status Report on the Housing Element Component of the General Plan Update Effort. City Council Agenda; Matter of Changing How Public Comments Are 80 09-17-01 2416 Received During City Council Meetings. The City Council was supportive of the proposal to allow public comments on New Business items; to limit "Public Comments" and comments from speakers on New Business items to three (3) minutes each; and to remove "Continued Public Comments" from the end of the City Council Agenda. The City Council approved the nomination of Gil Raposo to the Board of Zoning Adjustments District 1). Real Property Transfer Tax; Matter of Amendment to the Real Property 82 10-01-01 1170 Transfer Tax, Providing for Rebates and Additional Exemptions, and 1413 Establishing Regulations Governing Rebates. The City Council directed that 2318 the ordinance be referred back to staff for additional study and that the matter be scheduled before the full City Council for review and discussion.
