Council <br />-- <br />10-15-01 <br />-- <br />Member Grant commented that she had requested sometime ago that when <br />Ford Motor Company left the lot where cars were stored on East 14' Street, <br />she wanted to encourage staff to look at developing a South plan for the area. <br />By City Council consensus, the matter of developing a plan for the area <br />along East 14th Street from Bayfair Mall to the Ford Motor Company <br />storage lot was referred to the Economic Development and <br />Redevelopment Committee. <br />City Council Consensus (City Council Comments, Item 10.E.). Council <br />-- <br />10-15-01 <br />-- <br />Member Loeffler passed out a report from the California Journal on Child <br />Care and said he believes the City Council made a commitment to delineate a <br />specific charge for the community group working on this issue. By City <br />Council consensus, the matter of outlining the charge for the Child Care <br />Issues community group was referred to the Human Relations <br />Committee. <br />Matter of PLN2001-00043; Rezone from RD Residential Duplex District to <br />85 <br />11-05-01 <br />1099 <br />RM2000 (PD) Residential Multi -Family Planned Development Overlay <br />1009 <br />District; and Planned Development to Convert Existing Garage/Storage Area <br />of a Tri-Plex to a New One -Bedroom Residential Unit. Total Unit Count for <br />the Site Would be 5 Units, Which Includes an Existing, Single -Family, <br />Residential Residence; 244 Harlan Street, North Side of Harlan Street Between <br />Washington Avenue and Clarke Street; Assessor's Parcel Number 75-73-3-3; <br />C. Witherspoon, Applicant; D. Williams, Property Owners; RD Residential <br />Duplex District. Approved. <br />E. 141h Street Development Plan Including Solicitation of Urban Planning <br />86 <br />11-05-01 <br />-- <br />and Design Consultants. The City Council directed staff to proceed with <br />the preparation of an E. 14th Street Development Plan including <br />solicitation of urban planning and design consultants; and directed staff <br />to prepare an interim land use ordinance for consideration in December. <br />Citizen -Based Housing Element Ad Hoc Advisory Committee, Matter of <br />87 <br />11-05-01 <br />1 156 <br />Appointment of Additional Representatives to the.
