City Council Consensus (New Business, Item 8.E). By consensus, the City -- 10-04-99 — Council indefinitely tabled the matter of the Downtown Plan and Urban Design Guidelines Dated October 1999. City Council Consensus (City Council Reports and Comments, Item 6.A.2). -- 10-18-99 -- Council Member Lothrop indicated that she is a member of the League of California Cities Environmental Quality Policy Committee and as a member of that committee she has been asked to participate in a working group that will be meeting four times over the next year in Sacramento. She indicated that it will be an AB939 Working Group that will respond to the growing number of problems related to how progress toward AB939 goals are being measured and to evaluate potential alternative ways of measuring AB939 compliance. She asked for City Council consensus and support for her participation in that Group, as it will entail some use of staff. The Council was supportive of her participation. City Council Consensus (City Council Reports and Comments, Item 6.C.1). -- 10-18-99 — Council Member Nardine also requested that an item be put on an upcoming agenda regarding a discussion about the John Muir Pool. There was Council consensus to do so.
