By consensus, the City <br />-- <br />10-04-99 <br />— <br />Council indefinitely tabled the matter of the Downtown Plan and Urban <br />Design Guidelines Dated October 1999. <br />City Council Consensus (City Council Reports and Comments, Item 6.A.2). <br />-- <br />10-18-99 <br />-- <br />Council Member Lothrop indicated that she is a member of the League of <br />California Cities Environmental Quality Policy Committee and as a <br />member of that committee she has been asked to participate in a working <br />group that will be meeting four times over the next year in Sacramento. <br />She indicated that it will be an AB939 Working Group that will respond <br />to the growing number of problems related to how progress toward <br />AB939 goals are being measured and to evaluate potential alternative <br />ways of measuring AB939 compliance. She asked for City Council <br />consensus and support for her participation in that Group, as it will entail <br />some use of staff. The Council was supportive of her participation. <br />City Council Consensus (City Council Reports and Comments, Item 6.C.1). <br />-- <br />10-18-99 <br />— <br />Council Member Nardine also requested that an item be put on an <br />upcoming agenda regarding a discussion about the John Muir Pool. <br />There was Council consensus to do so. <br />
