W <br />At its last committee meeting, the City Council Airport Ad Hoc Committee revisited the request for the <br />$1,000 annual payment to the Port. The Ad Hoc Committee has recommended the City Council reconsider <br />this payment to the Port to help cover Forum operating expenses to insure the City's participation in the <br />Forum. <br />CONCLUSION <br />Staff recommends the City Council move to appoint a City Councilmember and a citizen representative to <br />the Airport -Community Noise Management Forum, and to commit to the $1,000 annual payment requested <br />by the Port of Oakland. <br />MR• <br />
