LCC'- ma-l\i 5 i 0C 4 <br />GV,jCz <br />1-i4nse� <br />CITY COUNCIL OF SAN LEANDRO <br />MINUTE ORDER <br />NO.98-69 <br />SUBJECT: Matter of Enterprise Funds — Status Update and Recommendations <br />MEETING DATE: November 2, 1998 <br />Minute Order No. 98-69, Matter of Enterprise Funds — Status Update and recommendations. <br />(1051) <br />The City Council: <br />(1) Directed staff to proceed with implementing all recommendations included in the October 29, <br />1998, staff report; <br />(2) Directed staff to meet with the affected employee association on an informal basis to discuss <br />reductions in service delivery levels; <br />(3) Directed the Mayor to appoint an Ad Hoc Committee of the City Council to nominate citizens <br />for the Refuse Enterprise Fund Review Committee; <br />(4) Directed that the Ad Hoc Nominating Committee meet to formulate recommendations; <br />5 Council shall then appoint a Citizen's Committee, to include representation on. behalf of <br />Senior Citizens; a residential customer;tat '.b�..ar.. <br />(6) Directed staff to distribute appropriate notices; the City Manager to hire an outside consultant <br />to advise staff regarding the structure of the RFQ/RFP, consequences of business terms, <br />contract and negotiations; and staff to develop and distribute Request for Quotations/Request <br />for Proposals. <br />M/S/C Lothrop and Nardine.
