Reports are prepared for each CountN. and often contain useful information regarding significant changes in local economic activities, trends affecting regional and countywide employment, and wage and labor -force information. Increasingly, EDD is making its data available via its on-line bulletin board system and/or by floppy diskette. Annual Reports from Local Publicly Traded Companies. The City may find it useful to obtain and review annual reports published by local companies that are publicly traded. particularly companies that have been targeted for retention or expansion. These reports may contain useful information about industry trends, and the outlook for the company within its industry. however, information specific to local operations may be limited. Real Estate Brokerage Reports. Large regional real estate brokerages publish these reports quarterly or annually. Typically, these reports review real estate market trends and conditions and summarize significant developments within the region, with detailed information at the sub -market level. Data are tracked separately for office, retail, and industrial properties.
