Billed as a celebration of the success of the local business <br />community, this event showcases the City's annual design awards for outstanding design in <br />commercial and residential development/renovation. reports on economic development <br />programs. and highlights products of local companies. Participation in this event is <br />typically very high, and the community spirit exhibited by the participants is extremely <br />positive. The economic development value of the Breakfast could be enhanced bv. <br />providing informational displays on local business assistance programs. spotlighting <br />development opportunities, planned improvements to local infrastructure and services. and <br />other facets of local economic development. This event could also be expanded to include <br />formal activities to encourage networking among local businesses. as suggested in Action <br />1.6.
