MOTION <br />Page 11 <br />Matter of Appeal by Richard E Winnie of Board of Zoning <br />Adjustments' Denial of CU-97-2; Conditional Use; for a <br />97-41 09-15-97 1098 Concrete and Asphalt Transfer Station and Recycling Plant, <br />Including the Grinding of Concrete and Asphalt; 2500 Davis <br />Street; Assessor's Parcel Number 79A-515-2-8; William <br />Crotinger for Evans Brothers, Inc.; IG Industrial General <br />District. The City Council continued the matter of Appeal <br />by Richard E. Winnie of Board of Zoning Adjustments' Denial <br />of CU-97-2 to the October 20, 1997, City Council Meeting. <br />Motion Authorizing Creation of Tree Trimmer II <br />Classification, Retitle the Tree Trimmer Classification to <br />97-42 09-15-97 1079 Tree Trimmer I, and Add a Park Maintenance Worker I Position <br />in the Landscape Maintenance Section of the Public Works <br />Services Department. The City Council authorized the <br />creation of a Tree Trimmer II Classification, Retitling of <br />the Tree Trimmer Classification to Tree Trimmer I, and the <br />addition of a Park Maintenance Worker I position in the <br />Landscape Maintenance Section of the Public Works Services <br />Department. <br />City Council Consensus (City Council Comments, Item C.4) <br />Vice Mayor Loeffler commented on the railroad -crossing issue <br />-- 09-15-97 -- and suggested the Council consider posting the address of <br />the President of Union Pacific Railroad at the crossings so <br />that if citizens had concerns, they could contact him <br />personally. There was Council consensus to have staff <br />research what kind of signage could be placed at railroad <br />crossings that will refer citizens to Union Pacific <br />directly. <br />Matter of Appeal by Richard E Winnie of Board of Zoning <br />Adjustments' Denial of CU-97-2; Conditional Use; for a <br />97-43 10-20-97 1098 Concrete and Asphalt Transfer Station and Recycling Plant, <br />Including the Grinding of Concrete and Asphalt; 2500 Davis <br />Street; Assessor's Parcel Number 79A-515-2-8; William <br />Crotinger for Evans Brothers, Inc.; IG Industrial General <br />District. The City Council referred the matter of the <br />Appeal by Richard E. Winnie of the Board of Zoning <br />Adjustments' Denial of CU-97-2 back to the Board of Zoning <br />Adjustments for reconsideration, pursuant to a letter of <br />request from Richard E. Winnie, Appellant. <br />
