The City Council denied the Appeal by Dora De La <br />Cruz of Administrative Hearing Findings of Fact and Order <br />for the property located at 1862 Edgehill Court, San <br />Leandro, CA, pursuant to San Leandro Municipal Code, Title <br />3, Chapter 1, Regarding Community Preservation Ordinance. <br />Golf Course Ad Hoc Committee, Matter of Creation of and <br />Appointment of Members to the City Council. The City <br />97-37 08-18-97 1156 <br />Council created and appointed Council Members Glaze, Young, <br />and Mayor Corbett to a City Council Golf Course Ad Hoc <br />Committee. <br />Motion to Add Urgency Item, Matter of City Council Airport <br />Ad Hoc Committee. The City Council approved the Motion to <br />97-38 08-18-97 -- <br />add urgency item, Matter of Creation of and Appointment of <br />Members to the City Council Airport Ad Hoc Committee, to the <br />City Council Agenda of August 18, 1997. <br />Airport Ad Hoc Committee, Matter of Creation of and <br />Appointment of Members to the City Council. The City <br />97-39 08-18-97 1156 <br />Council created and appointed Council Members Loeffler, <br />Lothrop, and Polvorosa, with Council Member Lothrop serving <br />as Chair, to a City Council Airport Ad Hoc Committee. <br />Matter of A-97-8; Marina Boulevard Rezoning to Provide "S" <br />Special Review Overlay District to Portions of Marina <br />97-40 09-02-97 1099/ <br />Boulevard Between Marina Boulevard at Doolittle Drive to <br />1009 <br />Marina Boulevard at Washington Avenue, As Well As Portions <br />of Side Streets Between Doolittle Drive and Washington <br />Avenue, Just Off Marina Boulevard. The Purpose of the "S" <br />Overlay District Is to Encourage Uses That: (1) Recognize <br />the Gateway, Industrial/Distribution, and Recreational <br />Aspects of Marina Boulevard and Surrounding Streets from <br />Doolittle Drive to I-880; (2) Recognize the Retail and <br />Automobile Sales Aspects of Marina Boulevard and Surrounding <br />Streets from I-880 to San Leandro Boulevard; and (3) <br />Recognize the Neighborhood Commercial and Residential <br />Aspects of Marina Boulevard and Surrounding Streets from San <br />Leandro Boulevard to Washington Avenue. The City Council <br />certified the Negative Declaration for A-97-8 as complete <br />and in compliance with CEQA requirements and approved the <br />Reclassification of A-97-8 to provide "S" Special Review <br />Overlay District in the area of Marina Boulevard between <br />Doolittle Drive and Washington Avenue. <br />
