<br /> <br /> <br />RFP No. 59548 Page 7 of 40 <br /> <br /> <br />written notification to and concurrence from the City Manager and the City Attorney, the <br />IPA may conduct an independent investigation. <br /> <br />V. Background Check Requirement <br /> <br />Only the IPA or IPA personnel who successfully pass the City required background check <br />will be allowed to work on the City’s project(s) and within the City’s facilities. Background <br />checks will be completed before the IPA is allowed facility and/or technology access. The <br />City will be responsible for the payment of all fees associated with any background checks or <br />fingerprinting. The IPA must be available to take City mandated, specialized training in order <br />to work in certain City Departments that have access to criminal justice information. The City <br />will be responsible for providing access to training for the IPA. The time of the IPA to <br />participate in such training shall be billed at the standard pricing agreed upon as a result of <br />this RFP. <br /> <br />VI. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS <br />Proposals shall include: <br />1. Scope of Services <br />a) A summary of the methodology to be used for the work specified in Section <br />IV. <br />b) A discussion of the methods of management, quality control, and coordination <br />that will be used to accomplish the work schedule for the tasks delineated in <br />Section IV. <br />c) An estimate of the level of effort required (i.e. hours for each project <br />component for each item of service or work). <br /> <br />2. Qualifications, including education, experience, certifications of key personnel who will <br />be assigned to the project from start to finish, including subconsultants. Expertise <br />applicable to the work specified in Section IV should be emphasized. Include the <br />quantity, function and availability of personnel to be assigned to perform the work <br />specified in Section IV including subconsultants. <br /> <br />3. Statement of past work performed on projects of a similar nature. Supply names of <br />clients, client’s contact person and telephone number, type of projects, and description of <br />prospective consultant’s activities. The City may contact the prospective consultant’s <br />previous clients for additional information. <br /> <br />4. If applicable, provide names of entities associated with the proposer who may have a <br />conflict of interest with the scope of services. Provide details and reasons. Proposers are <br />subject to disqualification on the basis of conflict of interest as determined by the City. <br /> <br />5. A fee schedule for each job classification and subconsultant proposed. <br /> <br />6. A detailed statement explaining any provisions in Sections III, IV and/or V that the <br />prospective consultant chooses not to address in the proposal <br />
