NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE <br />as follows: <br />That the Council recognizes the importance of prevailing wage laws, <br />declares the desire that these laws be continued without change and reaffirms the <br />Council's unwavering commitment to uphold prevailing wage requirements on City <br />public works projects; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk transmit a copy of this <br />Resolution to the Governor, the Director of the Department of Industrial <br />Relations, and appropriate members of the State Legislature. <br />Introduced by Council Member Myers and passed and adopted this <br />20th day of February 1996, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Council Members Galvan, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; <br />Mayor Corbett ( 5 ) <br />NOES: Council Member Kerr ( 1 ) <br />ABSENT: Council Member Loeffler ( 1 ) <br />Attest: <br />Alice Calvert, City Clerk <br />DARESOSIDAVISBAC.96 <br />
