EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />1. Consultant shall: <br />(a) Conduct an audit in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards as <br />of and for the years ended June 30, 1996, 1997 & 1998 with an option to <br />extend two additional years with the objective of expressing an opinion on the <br />City's general purpose financial statements. In addition, consultant will issue <br />a separate report on the financial statements of the Redevelopment Agency. <br />(b) Conduct a single audit of federal grant programs in accordance with generally <br />accepted auditing standards and the standards of financial and compliance <br />audits contained in the Government Auditing Standards issued by the <br />Comptroller General of the United States, the Single Audit Act of 1984, and <br />the provisions of OMB Circular A-128, and Audits of State and Local <br />Governments. <br />(c) Perform the procedures necessary to issue a report on the City's compliance <br />with the provisions of Measure B. <br />(d) Typing and printing of the City's CAFR and all other financial reports up to <br />100 copies, as requested by the City, at no additional cost. <br />(e) Preparation of the City's Annual Report of Financial Transactions to the State <br />Controller at no additional cost. <br />(f) Preparation of the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency's Annual Report of <br />Financial Transactions to the State Controller at no additional cost. <br />Exhibit A <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />9/26/88 Rev.; 1/10/90 Rev. <br />
