3. San Leandro City Employees Association <br />For those eligible employees represented by the San Leandro City Employees Association and their <br />eligible dependents, effective July, 1, 1995 the City shall pay the amount for dental plan coverage <br />not to exceed a maximum of Sixty-eight Dollars and Fourteen Cents ($68.14) per month for current <br />dental coverage provided by Met -Life Insurance Company. Any subsequent increases in dental <br />insurance premiums shall be split equally between the City and the employee. <br />Section 2.2 RETIRED SALARIED OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES <br />The provisions of Subsections A through D below apply to an eligible retired City employee and not more than <br />one (1) dependent. Retired employee dependent eligibility for City medical plan contribution is conditional <br />upon the active enrollment of the retired employee. <br />For those retired salaried officers and employees who are currently members of one of the City's three medical <br />plans, the City shall pay medical plans' two-party rate costs until the member is eligible for Medicare coverage <br />as follows: <br />A. San Leandro Police Officers' Association <br />This Subsection A applies only to those retired City employees who were assigned to classifications <br />represented by the San Leandro Police Officer's Association. Effective 1ch<>I Id, the City shall <br />contribute to the health plan two-party rate costs until the retired employee is eligible for Medicare <br />coverage. The maximum amount to be contributed by the City is as follows: <br />Maximum, Per Month <br />Blue Cross $332.17 <br />Kaiser 341.04 <br />Health -Net 360.10 <br />In the event the amounts required by the health plans exceed the maximum City contribution, such excess <br />amounts shall be paid by the retiree. <br />Dental: For those retired employees who were represented by the San Leandro Police Officers' <br />Association and who are currently members of the City's dental plan, or who were members of the City's <br />dental plan and retired on or after January 1, 1980: eectv;V%rh. .,, the City shall contribute <br />a maximum of Sixty-eight Dollars and Fourteen Cents ($68.14) per month. Any increases in dental plan <br />costs during the term of this Agreement shall be split equally between the City and the retired employee. <br />24 <br />
