SAN LEANDRO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE <br />TITLE 12 DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT <br />Chapter 6 Fee Schedule - Building Regulations <br />12.6.130: MISCELLANEOUS. <br />(a) Special Inspection Fees. Fees for special inspection not otherwise set forth herein shall beat an hourly <br />rate equal to the actual hourly cost, including overhead. <br />(b) Extra Inspection Fees. <br />(1) When extra inspections are made necessary by reason of deficient or defective work, or <br />otherwise through fault or error on the part of the holder of permit or his/her employees, one <br />such extra inspection shall be made under the regular fees as herein prescribed. For each and <br />every further extra inspection visit, the fee shall be at an hourly rate equal to the actual hourly <br />cost, including overhead. <br />(2) Whenever it shall be necessary to make an additional trip due to the applicant giving an incorrect <br />address or location of the work, a fee of $15.00 shall be charged for making such an additional <br />trip. <br />(3) After a permit has been issued and before any inspection of the work is made, the number of <br />devices authorized for installation or repair may be increased by submitting to the building <br />official an amended application for permit and paying fees for the additional installations. <br />(4) Whenever any work for which a permit is required by the San Leandro Municipal Code has been <br />commenced without first obtaining said permit, a special investigation shall be made before a <br />permit may be issued for such work. An investigation fee, in addition to the permit fee, shall be <br />collected whether or not a permit is then or subsequently issued. The investigation fee shall be <br />equal to three times the minimum fees specified by this resolution. The payment of such <br />investigation fee shall not exempt any person from compliance with all other provisions of <br />applicable codes in the execution of the work nor from any other penalties prescribed by law. <br />(c) Other Fees and Charges.
