Arrange the purchase and installation of automated counting CCILITment by <br />Econolite and on -call contractors. <br />Arrange installation of communications cable and end equipment in City Hall, <br />PWSC, Main Library, City Attorney Office, and WPCP to the extent that same are not <br />provided as part of signal interconnect installation contracts. <br />Deliverables: PS&E for signal interconnect and communications system. <br />Delivery Schedule: 21 weeks after Notice to Proceed. <br />Task 4 - Implementation <br />Assist City staff in overseeing and managing all contracts and work efforts. Help <br />with work inspections and preparation of punch lists. Observe acceptance tests and <br />determine needed modifications and retesting. <br />Monitor the progress of all work and assist City staff in coordinating and scheduling <br />project activities. Maintain a project master schedule. <br />Participate in training sessions provided by system vendors. Assist City staff in <br />setting up, configuring, and learning to use equipment. Assist City staff in developing <br />operating procedures. <br />Assist City staff in setting up the signal timing and graphics database for each signal <br />and group of signals added to the system. <br />Arrange traffic counts (by the City) to validate and calibrate automated count <br />stations as they come on line. Assist City staff to establish parameters and formula for <br />input to the Automated Traffic Analysis and Modeling System (ATAMS or Generation <br />1.5) software to provide accurate count data to the signal timing models. Assist City staff <br />to establish the base data sets for the timing models. Assist City staff to determine and <br />input all other parameters and data needed for the Generation 1.5 system. Assist City <br />staff to test, debug, and fine tune the Generation 1.5 system. <br />Deliverables: Assist City staff in establishing calibrated Generation 1.5 system. <br />Delivery Schedule: 60 weeks after Notice to Proceed. <br />Task 5 - Maintenance Management Database <br />Work with City signal maintenance staff to develop a signal maintenance <br />management database. The system will be based on the Access database software in use <br />by the City. Assist City staff to design and develop a database system that meets their <br />needs. City staff will set up screens and reports under the guidance of CONTRACTOR <br />personnel. Perform any needed programming and complex setup tasks including links to <br />9 <br />
