County of Alameda. <br />1. The County of Alameda is a subdivision of the state of California and is authorized by <br />Section 25350.5 of the Government Code to condemn for the purposes of the project described in the <br />complaint. <br />2. The project is a public use, to wit: provision of street lighting service. <br />3. The public interest and necessity require this project. <br />4. The project is planned and located in a manner that will be most compatible with the <br />greatest public good and least private injury. <br />5. The property sought in this action is necessary for the project. <br />6. The amount of just compensation for the property being condemned, including <br />compensation for all future uses to which Alameda County may put the property pursuant to the rights <br />obtained in this action, together with all costs and litigation expenses, if any, to which PG&E may be <br />entitled, and including interest, shall be $1,982,057.00, less the deposit of $857,833.00 (previously <br />withdrawn by PG&E). This net sum shall accrue interest commencing January 5, 1998 to the date of <br />payment at the rate of $171.96 per day until paid. <br />7. The parties have waived their rights to appeal from this judgment. <br />B. Albanv. <br />8. Albany is a municipal corporation and is authorized by Section 37350.5 of the <br />Government Code to condemn for the purpose of the project described in the complaint. <br />9. The project is a public use, to wit: provision of street lighting service. <br />10. The public interest and necessity require this project. <br />11. The project is planned and located in a manner that will be most compatible with the <br />greatest public good and least private injury. <br />12.
