IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 4 (1245/2783) <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE <br />A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />WITH ALAMEDA COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT <br />FOR CREEK AREA IMPROVEMENTS - ROOT PARK IMPROVEMENTS <br />PROJECT NO. 95-8687 <br />Recitals <br />A Cooperative Agreement from Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation <br />District, to the City of San Leandro, which is attached, has been presented to this Council. <br />The City Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br />The City -Manager has recommended the approval of said Agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That said City Council authorizes the Mayor to execute the Cooperative Agreement on behalf of <br />the City to allow- Alameda County to provide financial assistance to the City for certain San Leandro <br />Creek improvements related to the recently completed Root Park/Urban Creek Project. <br />Introduced by Council Member Glaze <br />1997, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />and passed and adopted this ? 1 st day of January, <br />AYES: Council Members Galvan, Glaze, Loeffler, Polvorosa, Young; <br />Mayor Corbett (6) <br />NOES: <br />None (0) <br />ABSENT: Council Member Lothrop ( 1 ) <br />Attest: <br />J AC LVI.
