A <br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 22 (1055/1203) <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />LEANDRO CALLING A SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION FOR THE <br />SUBMISSION TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF A QUESTION <br />RELATING TO THE BUSINESS LICENSE FEE ORDINANCE; <br />CONSOLIDATING THE SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION WITH THE <br />GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, JUNE 2, <br />1998; APPROVING THE FORM OF THE BALLOT QUESTION; SETTING <br />FORTH PROCEDURES FOR BALLOT ARGUMENT AND DIRECTING <br />THE CITY CLERI( TO SUBMIT THE MEASURE TO THE CITY <br />ATTORNEY FOR IMPARTIAL ANALYSIS <br />WHEREAS, under the provisions of the Charter and Ordinance No. 97- <br />034, a General Municipal Election shall be held on June 2, 1998, for the <br />election of Municipal Officers; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council also desires to call a Special Election to <br />submit to the voters at the election, a question relating to the City of San <br />Leandro's Business License Fee Ordinance; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />LEANDRO, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE <br />AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council hereby calls a special municipal election <br />of the qualified voters of the City of San Leandro, to be held on June 2, 1998, <br />to submit to the voters a measure relating to Chapter 2 of Title II of the San <br />Leandro Municipal Code pertaining to the business license fee schedule. <br />SECTION 2.
