EXHIBIT L <br />PLANTING DESCRIPTIONS <br />1. Street Tree Plantings <br />Four hundred large canopy trees would be planted along City streets in residential <br />neighborhoods based upon property owner request. Two hundred sites would have <br />concrete removed based upon potential for increasing available planting area. Tree <br />species planted will be from the attached lists from the City of San Leandro's Tree <br />Master Plan. For these tree plantings, only large canopy trees on List 2 or List 6 will <br />be used. If a residential street were classified as an arterial, a large canopy tree could <br />be selected from either List #3 or List #4. Fifteen gallon planting stock will be used. <br />2. Park Site Plantings <br />As outlined in the Parks Needs Assessment, trees will be planted at the following <br />parks: <br />Park Proposed Number to be planted <br />Memorial <br />2 <br />Marina <br />18 <br />Cherry Grove <br />18 <br />Bonaire <br />26 <br />Cleveland <br />18 <br />Washington Manor <br />50 <br />Total <br />132 <br />Tree species planted will be from the attached lists from the City of San Leandro's <br />Tree Master Plan.
