The retail and food tenants have been carefully chosen as complements to <br />our community's growing retail trade. <br />In order to create and maintain a retail shopping center as a safe and friendly environment <br />in which our customers can shop and enjoy the varied dining experiences, we must have <br />a "Security System" firmly in place once the center is open for business. <br />The following defines the Scope of Security Creekside Plaza has committed to: <br />1. A professional security company will be employed prior to the first store <br />opening. <br />2. Trained, uniformed personnel will staff the site at hours corresponding to the <br />stores' "open for business" hours. <br />3. The "Creekwalk" area will be patrolled at intervals throughout each day's <br />shift. <br />4. The parking areas will be patrolled continuously throughout the day. <br />5. The food plaza areas will be specifically watched for vagrant, abusive or <br />other anti -social behavior. <br />6. Security patrols are equipped with radio dispatch capability for backup help, <br />if required, or medical assistance. Quick, professional response to any <br />trouble or concern will keep Creekside Plaza safe and friendly to all who <br />chose to come. <br />7. The security team will have a good working relationship with the San <br />Leandro Police Department and the community at large_ <br />8. All stores and restaurants will be checked during the day and their store <br />fronts and side doors checked at the end of their business day. <br />9. Graffiti is a major problem for any shopping center. We need to address this <br />issue with a great deal of care and concern through the security system we <br />have in place. Should we find graffiti on any of the buildings, a graffiti <br />removal plan will be in place. it is our experience, removal of any unsightly <br />markings, defacing, etc., must be taken care of quickly if this behavior is to <br />be discouraged_ <br />10. Shoplifting, or any in-store disruption, will be handled by our security team <br />detaining the individual and calling for City police intervention <br />
