Council Members <br />Districts One through Six <br />The successors for each individual Council Member shall be the respective appointee of <br />the following Boards and Commissions for each Councilmanic district by numerical sequence <br />starting with one: <br />1. Districts 1-6 <br />appointment to Board of Zoning Adjustment. <br />2. Districts 1-6 <br />appointment to Planning Commission. <br />3. Districts 1-6 <br />appointment to Human Resources Commission. <br />4. Districts 1-6 <br />appointment to Recreation and Parks Commission. <br />5. Districts 1-6 <br />appointment to Library Historical Commission. <br />In the event it becomes necessary for any or all of the stand-by officers to act they shall be <br />appointed by the Council for each respective office in accordance with the number designation <br />commencing with the lowest numerical designation and proceeding to the higher numerical <br />designation if the person with the lower numerical designation is unable to serve; and be it further <br />RESOLVED, that the following order of succession is hereby established for the <br />enumerated department heads. <br />b. City Manager <br />1. Assistant City Manager <br />2. Chief of Police <br />3. Public Works Services Director <br />Police Chief <br />1. Police Captain <br />2. Senior Police Lieutenant by date of rank to Police <br />Lieutenant with lesser seniority <br />Public Works Services Director <br />1. Assistant Director <br />2. Water Pollution Control Manager <br />2 <br />
