Priority #9: Priority Community Development - Capital Improvement Projects <br />Resources Used: <br />The City applied CDBG funds to capital improvement projects during this time <br />period. <br />Activities Undertaken: <br />The City funded facility improvements to three nonprofit agencies in the last year. <br />The Davis Street Center did not initiate their project during this time period and will <br />carry over their funding to the next fiscal year. DCARA completed the final phase <br />of the facility improvements which included fencing, landscaping, and fire alarm <br />system. Girls' Inc. continued the building rehabilitation project and purchased <br />needed furniture and fixtures. <br />The City will be carrying over the funding designated for the ADA Parks and <br />Playgrounds program due to the pending City Council adoption of the City's Parks <br />Masterplan. No funds were expended during this time period. <br />Geographic Distribution: <br />All facilities and projects are located in San Leandro. <br />Matching Contributions: <br />N/A <br />
