Priority #8: Priority Community Development - Public Service Support <br />Resources Used: <br />The City applied CDBG and Community Assistance (general funds) to programs <br />during this time period. <br />Activities Undertaken: <br />The City supported 13 nonprofit agencies/programs serving the community with a <br />combined total funding level of $259,000 during the past fiscal year. Specifically, <br />the CDBG program funded Project Literacy, Davis Street Community Center, San <br />Leandro Shelter for Women and Children, and RecLink. Additionally, the CDBG <br />program funded Fair Housing and tenant/landlord services by contracting with <br />ECHO Housing, Inc. <br />Geographic Distribution: <br />The services are available city wide. <br />Matching Contributions: <br />N/A <br />
