AMENDMENT TO CONTRACTUAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />WITH CCS PLANNING & ENGINEERING <br />THIS AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is made at San Leandro, California as of <br />NOVEMBER 3, 1997, by and between THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO ("City"), and CCS Planning <br />& Engineering ("Contractor"). <br />This Amendment is made in contemplation of the following facts, understandings and <br />intentions of the parties: <br />A. On December 4, 1995, the City and Contractor entered into an Agreement by approving <br />Resolution No. 95-232, relating to produce the necessary studies and contract documents to construct <br />the East 14th/Mission Signal Interconnect Improvements project, with an amount not to exceed <br />$160,000, as agreed to in said Agreement. Phase I scope of work consisted of performing the tasks <br />such as inventory of existing conditions, development of interconnect strategies, defining traffic <br />responsive systems, communications analysis, system requirement workshops, preparation of system <br />specifications and funding applications. Phase II scope of work consisted of preparation of <br />construction plans, specifications and estimates of traffic signal interconnect conduits and <br />communication devices, timing plans and construction services. <br />B. The City desires to amend the Agreement to extend the scope of the Agreement, and to <br />correspondingly increase the total amount of payment by adding $112,400.00 for a total contract <br />amount of $272,400.00. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. EXHIBIT A, Scope of Services, shall be amended as follows: <br />The additional work of this Amendment includes acquisition of computer hardware, generation <br />of 1.5 software and construction inspection services for the East 14th/ Mission Signal <br />Interconnect Project. <br />Acquisition of Computer Hardware & development of Generation 1.5 software <br />The CONTRACTOR shall purchase and install computer hardware as described in Tech Memo <br />3 and as updated in attached Table 1. Each computer system shall be furnished with a <br />Windows NT platform and installed at each of the TOC member offices. Each agency will be <br />responsible for providing electrical power (including surge protection or battery backup) and <br />the hardware furniture. <br />The CONTRACTOR shall pick up the hardware from the vendor and coordinate with CTNET <br />developers for the loading of CTNET and Generation 1.5 software before delivery and <br />installation of hardware at each agency. <br />Amendment to Agreement Page 1 of 4 <br />
