their expense within 48 hours of request by the Golf Course <br />Operations Manager. <br />2.4 VINES <br />2.4.1 Vines and espalier plants shall be checked and retied as required. <br />Secure vines with appropriate ties to promote directional growth <br />on supports. <br />2.4.2 Do not use nails to secure vines on masonry walls. <br />2.4.3 Deep water vines in pockets, not provided with sprinklers, as <br />required to promote optimum growth. <br />2.4.4 Schedule fertilization of all vines with a commercial fertilizer as <br />often as required, but no less than twice per year, to promote <br />healthy appearance. <br />2.4.5 Pruning of vines will be in accordance with proper horticultural <br />practices and in keeping with the purpose for which the particular <br />vine was planted as determined by the Golf Course Operations <br />Manager. <br />2.4.6 Any vine requiring removal shall be replaced by the Operator at <br />their expense within 48 hours of request by the Golf Course <br />Operations Manager. <br />10 <br />
