Consolidated Plan Annual Performance Report — FY 2001-2002 <br />City of San Leandro <br />Page 2 <br />PART I: SUMMARY OF RESOURCES AND <br />PROGRAMMATIC ACCOMPLISHMENTS <br />SECTION A: RESOURCES MADE AVAILABLE <br />The following resources were made available during FY 2001-2002: <br />■ $733,000 of City of San Leandro Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) <br />■ $188,783.79 of CDBG program income <br />■ $283,000 of City of San Leandro HOME grant funds for FY 2001-2002 <br />■ $300,000 from the City of San Leandro Community Assistance Program for public service <br />activities provided by local non-profit agencies <br />■ $150,000 of Redevelopment Housing Set -Aside funding for the First -Time Homebuyer <br />Program <br />■ $873,228 of Mortgage Credit Certificate assistance for new mortgage financing for four <br />homeowners <br />■ $300,000 Redevelopment Set -Aside match for acquisition/rehabilitation of a 46-unit <br />multifamily development by a non-profit developer <br />■ One hundred Section 8 Certificates and Vouchers issued by the Housing Authority. <br />SECTION B: INVESTMENT OF AVAILABLE RESOURCES <br />This section presents housing and community development activities and programs carried out <br />during FY 2001-2002. Activities and programs that support the Consolidated Plan are listed by <br />priority and include those that are funded by the Redevelopment Agency and the City's General <br />Fund. <br />AFFORDABLE HOUSING NEEDS <br />Priority: Increase the availability of affordable rental housing for very low-, <br />low- and moderate -income households. <br />
