thereafter, shall have any interest, direct or indirect, in any contract or subcontract, or the proceeds thereof, for work to be performed in connection with this Agreement. C. Recipient hereby certifies that no one who has any financial interest in or receives compensation for services by Recipient's corporation or agency is related by blood or marriage within the third degree to the Mayor or any one or more of the members of the City Council, City Manager, or the department head to which these services are to be provided. D. Recipient shall incorporate, or cause to be incorporated, in all subcontracts for work to be performed under this Agreement a provision prohibiting such interest pursuant to the purposes of this section. 5. POLITICAL ACTIVITY PROHIBITED. None of the funds, materials, property or services contributed by the City or Recipient under this Agreement shall be used for any partisan political activity, or to further the election or defeat of any candidate for public office. 6. LOBBYING. To the best of Recipient's knowledge and belief - A. No Federal appropriated funds have been paid or will be paid, by or on behalf of it, to any person for influencing or attempting to influence an officer or employee of any agency, a Member of Congress, an officer or employee of Congress, or an employee of a Member of Congress in connection with the awarding of any Federal grant, the making of any Federal loan, the entering into of any cooperative agreement, and the extension, continuation, renewal, amendment, or modification of any Federal contract, grant, loan or cooperative agreement; B. If any funds other than Federal appropriated funds have been paid or will be paid to any person for influencing or attempting to influence an officer or employee of any agency, a Member of Congress, an officer or employee of Congress, or an employee of a Member of Congress in connection with this Federal contract, grant, loan, or cooperative agreement, Recipient will complete and submit Standard Form -LLL, "Disclosure Form to Report Lobbying", in accordance with its instructions; and C. Recipient will require that the language of paragraph (b) of this certification be included in the award documents for all subawards at all tiers (including subcontracts, subgrants, and contracts under grants, loans, and cooperative agreements) and that all recipients shall certify and disclose accordingly; 7. RELIGIOUS ACTIVITY PROHIBITED. There shall be no religious worship, instruction proselytization as part of, or in connection with the performance of this Agreement.
