IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002— 162 (1455/2945) <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING <br />THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN AND FILE, <br />FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO, <br />A WATER RECYCLING FACILITIES PLANNING GRANT APPLICATION <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of San Leandro that the City Manager or his designee is <br />hereby authorized and directed to sign and file, for and on behalf of the City of San Leandro, a <br />Water Recycling Facilities Planning Grant Application for a grant from the State Water <br />Resources Control Board in the amount not to exceed $75,000.00 for a facilities planning study <br />of Recycled Water Feasibility in the City of San Leandro. <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the City of San Leandro hereby agrees and further does authorize the <br />aforementioned representative or his designee to certify that the Agency has and will comply <br />with all applicable state statutory and regulatory requirements related to any state grant funds <br />received, and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager or his designee of the City of San Leandro <br />is hereby authorized to negotiate and execute a grant contract and any amendments or change <br />orders thereto on behalf of the City of San Leandro. <br />above: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />Introduced by Council Member Glaze and passed and <br />adopted this I Sth day of November, 2002 by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />Ayes: Council Members Badger, Glaze, Loeffler, Nardine, Santos; <br />Mayor Young ( 6 ) <br />Noes: None ( 0 ) <br />Absent: Council Member Grant ( 1 ) <br />Attest: <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
