EXHIBIT A <br />Scope of Services <br />Introduction: <br />The scope of services involves schematic design of streetscape improvements of Doolittle Drive, from <br />Davis Street to Fairway Drive. Services for the Schematic Design phase shall be as follows: <br />1.01 Pre -Design Meetings: Meet with City staff to discuss project's history and to agree on project <br />approach, objectives, budget and schedule. <br />1.02 Site Reconnaissance/Photo-boards: Conduct an evaluation of the site including views to and <br />from the site, traffic and pedestrian circulation patterns and existing site features including <br />landscaping, overhead utility easements, driveway locations, crosswalks, light poles and catch <br />basin locations and drainage patterns. Photograph site and prepare photo -boards for in-house use <br />and presentation purposes. <br />1.03 Base Sheet: Prepare base sheets (5 total at 1"=30'-0") by re -formatting as needed the existing <br />topographic information provided by the City in AutoCAD 2000. Prepare a key map for each <br />sheet. <br />1.04 Schematic Design: Prepare design concept(s) for landscape related improvements. Plans shall <br />include plan view, elevation and sectional sketches necessary for staff evaluation and public <br />presentation. Render all drawings in color. <br />1.05 Material Boards: Prepare material boards for pavement, site furnishings, signage colors and <br />landscaping, consisting of catalog cuts, photos and/or actual samples indicating finish and color. <br />1.06 Cost Estimate: Prepare a detailed estimate of probable construction cost for site improvements <br />and other project costs for both the preliminary and final Schematic Designs. <br />1.07 Meetings/Public Review: Attend a total of four (4) meetings each with the City of San Leandro <br />staff, and two (2) neighborhood meetings for design review and discussion of project scope, <br />schedule and budget. <br />1.08 Final Schematic Design: Prepare final Schematic Design and render in color.
