F,XMRIT A <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />1.0 DESCRIPTION: <br />This project consists of revising construction documents (Plans and specifications)and preparing <br />cost estimates. <br />2.0 SCOPE OF SERVICES / DELIVERABLES: <br />Product/Deliverables: <br />This contract is a supplement to cover additional work not covered in the contract previously <br />approved by the City for this project on April 1, 2002. As such, this supplement only describes <br />additional work requested on your October 4, 2002 letter. Omission from the scope of work below <br />does not relieve the consultant from completing the scope of work on the original contract. <br />Construction documents, including technical specifications, shall be revised as follows: <br />► Architectural plans: Revise floor plans to accommodate full height walls for museum space <br />and other changes per progress meeting on 7/31/02, site meeting on 8/13/02, and Oakland <br />Museum consultant report dated 8/20/02. <br />Mechanical /Electrical /and Plumbing: Plans to assume replacement of all M/E/P fixtures <br />and equipment, and to include a lighting plan. Provide PG&E coordination for service <br />upgrading by AE. Additional HVAC requirements as a result of the Museum Consultant's <br />Report for temperature and humidity controls in the museum and storeroom, and an <br />additional mechanical unit for the core area of the building. Additional electrical engineering <br />for the coordination with PG&E for service upgrade, and lighting revisions for new full <br />height walls. <br />Civil engineering: Revise drawings to include necessary grading and drainage <br />improvements. Includes design of new sidewalk drain to West Estudillo, and/or storm drain <br />connection to Clarke Avenue as necessary, as well as new street sidewalk improvements for <br />ADA compliance as necessary. Additional services for civil engineering to provide an <br />expanded topographical survey of the courtyard, additional grading and drainage design as a <br />result of the expanded courtyard design and new entrance area and design a new catch basin <br />with sump pump for temporary use until the Estudillo Street renovation project is completed. <br />► Landscape: Revise drawings per site meeting on 8/27 to include new entrance gate, <br />courtyard paving, and landscape lighting. <br />Topographic survey. Survey shall be expanded to include: <br />Extend topographic survey information to cover additional Casa Peralta grounds to the West <br />of the Building at 320/324 West Estudillo. <br />Relevant `spot' information from the Casa Peralta grounds; including information on existing <br />storm drainage structures in Casa Peralta (three inlets within courtyard, and drop inlet on <br />Clarke avenue), corners of the Casa Peralta buildings, and perimeter fence / openings along <br />West Estudillo frontage. <br />Contractual Services Agreement Page 3 of 16 <br />320/324 West Estudillo Building Renovation <br />
