New language is italicized and underlined, while eliminated <br />language isstr-uek etA. <br />In summary, the main changes follow: <br />• Standardization <br />o Following a thorough review of all titles, a standard format was developed. In <br />some cases, this resulted in articles being added to Titles. Numerous new articles <br />and sections were added to Title 19 Library Historical Commission & Title 20 <br />Personnel Relations Board. In other cases, this resulted in antiquated language <br />being removed. Numerous sections were deleted from Title 22 Recreation and <br />Parks Commission. <br />o The types of issues that were standardized include: elections of officers at the first <br />regular meeting in July of each year; appointment of committees; conduct of <br />business; and, relations with press, the general public, the City Council and other <br />boards and commissions. <br />• New Title Added — <br />o Title 14 was previously reserved for the Board of Appeals. Language has been <br />added to address the Rules of Procedure for this board. <br />• Separate Title for Each Commission & Board — <br />o The Rent Review Board was moved from Title 22A to Title 13 <br />o The Youth Advisory Commission was moved from Title 23A to Title 17 <br />o The Recreation and Human Services staff is working with Police staff and the <br />City Attorney's office on Title 22 Recreation and Parks, Chapter 2 Rules and <br />Regulations for the Use of Public Parks.
