PE: 935 IM: 33 <br />3 <br />AGREEMENT <br />This Agreement, made and entered into this 1 4gl- day of <br />c',- 1963, between INTER -COASTAL PO"T CORPORATION, a <br />corporation, hereinafter called "Seller," and the CITY OF SAN <br />LEANDRO, a municipal corporation, hereinafter called "Buyer," <br />WITNESSETH: <br />1. The Seller agrees to sell and convey to the Buyer, and <br />Buyer agrees to buy all that real property situated in the City of <br />San Leandro, County of Alameda, State of California, and more par- <br />ticularly described as follows: <br />D AD/`CI nkiC <br />BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the Southwestern <br />line of Washington Avenue formerly Watkins Street with <br />the Southeastern line of that certain strip of land <br />Twenty feet in width described in the Deed dated November 3, <br />1909, from Katie A. Mathews to Hudson Lumber Co., a cor- <br />poration, said Deed being recorded in Liber 1688 of Deeds, <br />at page 9, Alameda County Records; thence South 62' West <br />along said Southeasterly line a distance of Four,Hundred <br />Seventy-nine and 34/100 feet to the Northeastern line of <br />the right of way Eighty feet in width of the Western <br />Pacific Railway; thence along said right of way line South <br />49" 30' 2011 East Two Hundred Twelve and 64/100 feet; thence <br />leaving last said right of way line North 62' East Four <br />Hundred One and 38/100 feet to the Southwesterly line of <br />Washington Avenue; thence North 280 West along the last <br />named line One Hundred Ninety-seven and 84/100 feet to <br />point of beginning. <br />Containing 2 acres, more or less, <br />PARCEL TWO <br />A RIGHT OF WAY for travel and for water pipes over the <br />property more particularly described as follows, to wit: <br />BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the Southwestern <br />line of Washington Avenue, formerly Watkins Street, with <br />the Southeastern line of that certain tract of land contain- <br />ing 50 acres, described in a Deed from J. B. Ward, trustee, <br />to Wm. Cahill and wife, dated November 13, 1865 and recorded <br />in Volume 'IT'' of Deeds, at page 248, in the office of the <br />County Recorder of Alameda County, California; and running <br />thence along the Southern line of said 50 acre tract South <br />62' West Four Hundred Eighty-seven and 22/100 feet to the <br />Northeastern line of the right of way Eighty feet in width <br />of the Western Pacific Railway; thence along said railway <br />line South 49' 30' East Twenty-one and 50/100 feet, thence <br />AU115702 <br />
