IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO.2022-140 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE ASSOCIATES FOR THE DESIGN STUDIES FOR THE LONG BEACH RESTORATION PROJECT, PROJECT NO.2020.3060 FOR AN AMOUT NOT TO EXCEED $414,500 WHEREAS, the San Francisco Bay Restoration Authority (SFBRA) granted the City of San Leandro $514,500 in Measure AA granted funds for a planning study for the Long Beach Restoration project within the Robert's Landing Shoreline area; and WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the City Budget which contains the Capital Improvement Program for the Long Beach Restoration; and WHEREAS, the City Council has directed the City Manager and his designee to improve the conditions of the Long Beach Shoreline; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the scope of work and compensation schedule for the agreement; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That the City Manager shall reject all of said proposals except that herein mentioned, that the agreement is approved, and the City Manager is authorized to execute the agreement for the planning studies with ESA for an amount not to exceed $414,500.
