Zalinski for Inspector of <br />Record services related to the construction of the San Leandro Police Building and South Offices <br />Modifications project. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Staff recommends authorizing execution of Amendment No. 1 to an existing Consultant Services <br />Agreement with Jason R. Zalinski for an Inspector of Record Services for the subject project. <br />BACKGROUND <br />Portions of the first floor of the San Leandro Police Building are currently under construction as <br />part of the subject project. The building is an essential service building as defined in the <br />California Administrative Code and requires that an independent Inspector of Record (IOR) be <br />onsite for continuous inspection during construction to ensure that work meets code and complies <br />with the project plans and specifications. <br />Analysis <br />Jason R. Zalinski was hired as the IOR for the work currently in construction at the Police Building, <br />since he has over 38 years of experience in the construction field, and he has been providing <br />services as an IOR since 1999.
