IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2022- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO <br />AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONSULTING SERVICES <br />AGREEMENT WITH ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE ASSOCIATES FOR THE <br />DESIGN STUDIES FOR THE LONG BEACH RESTORATION PROJECT, PROJECT <br />NO. 2020.3060 FOR AN AMOUT NOT TO EXCEED $414,500 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the San Francisco Bay Restoration Authority (SFBRA) granted the City of <br />San Leandro $514,500 in Measure AA granted funds for a planning study for the Long Beach <br />Restoration project within the Robert’s Landing Shoreline area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the City Budget which contains the Capital <br />Improvement Program for the Long Beach Restoration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has directed the City Manager and his designee to improve <br />the conditions of the Long Beach Shoreline; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the scope of work and compensation <br />schedule for the agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br /> <br />That the City Manager shall reject all of said proposals except that herein mentioned, that <br />the agreement is approved, and the City Manager is authorized to execute the agreement for the <br />planning studies with ESA for an amount not to exceed $414,500. <br /> <br /> <br />Introduced by _______ and passed and adopted this 6th day of September 2022, by the <br />following vote: <br /> <br />Members of the Council: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> Kelly B.
